Imagine there was a fancy new hotel in Seattle… one near the cruise ship docks and proudly standing at the feet of the Space Needle.
The rooftop terrace on top of this unicorn-of-Seattle-accommodations, sporting fire pits, BBQs, and a view to the west of the Olympic Range and warm summer sunsets, is just begging to be enjoyed by a group of fun loving artists. Mingle sesh? Paint party? BBQ? Do them ALL!
“Sounds great, but what about the rooms?”
At 500sqft these abodes are no mere rooms! They are studios! With full kitchens, your choice of a King bed or 2 Queen beds AND a pull out sofa separated from the bed area with a wall partition, there is room to spare or even fill that extra bed with a friend. (Rooms with 2 queen beds sleep up to 5 people)
“Isn’t the Space Needle far from the airport? Will I need a rental car?”
Need? No! The monorail stops right across the street from the hotel and for about $6 you can get on the Light Rail at the SEATAC Airport, then switch to the Mono Mail, and you’re home! No need for a pricy taxi or pay for a rental car unless you want to explore. Which is cool too!

Sound good? Well, you’re still reading so it must have perked your interest at least!
This place does exist and it is the brand new Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown and we have worked with their sales team to secure a special discount for our group. The price for these rooms is only $235+tax ($70 less than what they’re listed at on other sites!)
We will be staying there the night prior to our cruise departing Seattle, and again when the ship returns to Seattle. This will give us all a nice space to unwind, from air or car travel before the cruise, gather our things, and enjoy one another before we get on the boat the next day. Upon our return this will also be a great home-base to enjoy our final time together, share work we created, and prepare for our final legs home.
Booking details will be posted here once we have the specific procedure they would like us to follow. If you have any questions about this hotel.
