Larry Seiler, has over 30 years teaching and painting experience, with awards and recognition for both. From winning Wisconsin’s 1984 Wildlife Artist of the Year, to nominations for the Laird Foundation Award for Leadership in Art in 2002 and 2004; the 2006 Herb Kohl Education Foundation Fellowship Award and listed in Who’s Who of America’s Teachers Larry is one of the original staffers of Wetcanvas.com… creating and moderating eight forums for over twelve years until his more recent retiring. Forums such as landscape, plein air, animal and wildlife, composition and design, illustration, structured critique. He has authored a book on landscape painting, has a number of painting DVD’s, and put together a series of teaching materials for F&W Publishers (Wetcanvas, Artist Magazine, North Light Shop) and ANU (Artist Network University) virtual online workshops. Signature member of IPAP (International Plein Air Painters), member of WIPAPA (Wisconsin Plein Air Painters Association) and an associate member of American Impressionist Society, and Oil Painters of America.
