Dall sheep are nearly guaranteed along this route and prove to be quite photogenic. You think they might sit for painting? Maybe!

The Turnagain arm is itself a sight to behold with drastic tide fluctuations and constantly shifting braided channels at low tide. The drastic tide shift also allows for a changing craggy shorelines and silty beaches.
